Job Title: Assistant Superintendent

Job Description

We have an immediate opening for an Assistant Superintendent to join our team and work on a variety of projects, including those at Banner Medical, Mayo Clinic, and various commercial projects in the valley. This position has become available due to recent project wins with Banner Medical and Mayo Clinic for interior tenant improvements. This is a full time contract to hire position with full benefits. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Assist with scheduling and overseeing subcontractors.

• Ensure the construction site is clean and free of debris.

• Assist in the field as needed and collaborate with subcontractors.

• Complete construction site checklists with strong attention to detail.

• Provide reliable communication and keep the team informed of time spent on tasks.

Essential Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in construction.

• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.

• Experience with scheduling and coordinating.

• Carpentry skills.

• Drywall installation.

• Tenant improvements.

• Construction site safety management.

• Experience managing subcontractors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in medical/clean room projects.

• Experience in commercial/tenant improvement projects.

• Previous experience working for a general contractor.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Proficiency in Bluebeam.

Work Environment

The work environment includes an office trailer on-site at the Mayo Clinic. Typical working hours are from 5am to 1:30pm, with some opportunities for overtime. The role may require occasional night or weekend work depending on project demands. The dress code includes a hard hat, jeans, and work boots.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.27
