Job Title: Architect Job Captain / Project ArchitectJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architect Job Captain or Project Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a professional architectural degree and at least 5 years of experience. This role involves developing designs, producing construction documents, and coordinating consultant efforts. You will also manage RFIs, submittal reviews, drawing revisions, and supplemental construction phase documents. Effective team communication and client engagement are crucial to executing projects successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the design and produce construction documents.

  • Coordinate consultant efforts.

  • Manage RFIs and submittal reviews.

  • Handle drawing revisions and supplemental construction phase documents.

  • Ensure effective team communication and collaboration.

  • Engage with clients on project status or act as a Project Manager as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Professional architectural degree.

  • Licensed Architect or Unlicensed Captain.

  • At least 5 years of experience in architecture.

  • Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Strong project coordination and administration skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

  • Excellent teamworking and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service and administrative support.

  • Ability to schedule meetings and manage project administration.

  • Multi-tasker with great attention to detail.

This position is based in our TEMPE office. We are an employee-owned firm that offers great bonuses and benefits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $42.00
