The role will be expected to take on a higher level of ownership and responsibility in ensuring all taxation deliverables are met, on time and at the required high level of quality.
Managing the tax complaince of multiple geography.
Should be able to work in UK/ USA time shift and flexible to work in other shift, if situation demands.
Leading many different tax matters (Direct, Indirect and Transfer Pricing) across North America, Europe, Africa & Asia region.
Must have handled: Philippines Tax and couple of more geographies outside Phillipines
Work with consultants of different geographies for effective and timely compliance.
To reduce the dependability on the consultant and bring the work in house.
Supporting & building complete framework for tax compliance and adherence Interpreting tax under the business framework ensuring adherence of law as well as framing the processes/designs to enable business.
Handling international tax matters. Leading Tax Assessments, Appeals, Audits, attend notices by coordinating with tax consultants/advisors, timely submissions/reply etc related to various tax matters and help leadership for the final decision/actions.
Enabling the business by providing requisite tax support in various commercial decisions
Should have a basic understanding of accounting to understand the transactions and maintain tax ledgers.
Work Location:Philippines, Makati City Qualifications: 4 - 5 years or more of Tax experience
BA or BS in Accounting preferred
Must be a Certified Public Accountant or CPA
