Dataprise Senior Revenue Accountant in Philippines, Philippines
About the role: The Senior Revenue Accountant will be an integral part of our Finance team reporting to the Vice President of Accounting who is responsible for analyzing and forecasting revenue, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to enhance profitability. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure accurate revenue recognition, develop strategic initiatives, and support financial planning and analysis.

What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and forecasting revenue, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to enhance profitability.
This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure accurate revenue recognition, develop strategic initiatives, and support financial planning and analysis.
Analyze historical revenue data and trends to provide insights and forecasts.
Develop and maintain revenue models and forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning.
Identify revenue opportunities and risks and propose strategies to optimize revenue growth
Prepare and present detailed revenue reports and analyses to senior management
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reporting
Collect, analyze, and interpret large sets of data to provide actionable insights
Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to understand revenue drivers and business impacts
Provide analytical support for pricing strategies and promotional activities
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify industry trends and benchmark performance.
Support M&A activities, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
What Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
5+ years of experience in revenue analysis, financial planning, or a related field, with a history of progressive responsibility
Strong understanding of accounting principles, specifically ASC 606 in a SaaS environment. This would include the ability to review contracts within a standard revenue recognition framework.
Proficiency in NetSuite, ConnectWise, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
Analytic and critical thinking skills.
Mindfulness with proper documentation of work performed.
Ability to create and prepare reports for internal consumption to explain fluctuations in revenue on a monthly basis. Reports may include revenue roll forwards to explain churn, recurring, and new revenue.
Collaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to resolve or explain revenue-related issues.
Ability to work independently.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
