In Workday finance at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services for Workday finance applications. You will analyse client requirements, implement software solutions, and offer training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of Workday finance applications. Working in this area, you will enable clients to optimise financial processes, improve financial reporting, and achieve their strategic objectives.

Demonstrates extensive abilities to influence and shape the solutioning of large opportunities early in the deal cycle with clients and pursuit teams; possesses in-depth experience in end-to-end multi-platform solutioning and is regarded as an industry-leading specialist in the respective platform.
Exhibits knowledge of project vision and scope, including Workday product roadmap, as well as client’s current and desired end state;
Contributes solution architecture, scope definition, pricing, and delivery practices informed by industry trends and market knowledge;
Defines and documents solution layers for proposals/Phase 0 projects in alignment with project vision;
Identifies project risks or uncertainties to incorporate into the Statement of Work (SOW);
Develops a detailed level of effort and cost for proposed solutions with onshore and Acceleration Center breakdown, utilizing PwC’s scoping and delivery tools, and collaborates on delivery roadmap and schedule;
Maintains solution plan and architecture throughout the proposal phase and transition to the project team;
Ensures alignment of delivery methodology with PwC’s Delivery Methodology;
Engages with pricing desk for pricing insights,
Coordinates with Build Studio for project staffing and transition from pursuit to delivery;
Provides Solution Engineers with guidance for product demonstrations and other pre-sales activities that align with the proposed Solution Plan, ensuring demonstrations adhere to the overall architecture reference model;
Identifies and proposes reusable architectural patterns that could enhance future projects,
Demonstrates thorough understanding of existing and evolving firm assets, introducing these assets and innovations to individual pursuits; and,
Participates in Phase 0/1 projects or Align Phase to establish a robust solution plan, ensuring the plan is included in the Statement of Work and any contract modifications are reflected in change orders.
Demonstrates Workday Financials expertise and leverages comprehensive knowledge of Workday Financials functionalities, including areas such as the Foundation Data Model, Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Financial Reporting, to design scalable solutions that address diverse client finance transformation needs and support efficient, compliant financial operations.
Applies specialized knowledge of Workday Financials across industries (e.g., Foundation Data Model, Record to Report, Order to Cash, Financial Reporting) to design robust, scalable solutions that support client finance transformation needs;
Architects integrated solutions with Workday Financials and other enterprise systems, considering data, reporting, and security requirements to strengthen financial visibility and control;
Utilizes industry-leading practices for financial compliance (e.g., SOX, IFRS, GAAP) within Workday Financials solutions, aligning architecture with client-specific and regulatory standards;
Applies in-depth understanding of financial processes (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report) to architect solutions that enhance financial operations and reporting capabilities;
Develops and documents Workday Financials innovations to establish standardized, reusable assets for future projects;
Leads the migration strategy for historical financial data into Workday Financials, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to ongoing processes; and,
Works closely with Workday-certified solution engineers and cloud teams to optimize Workday Financials deployments, aligning with industry requirements and PwC best practices.

The salary range for this position is: $130,000 - $256,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
