Ferguson is currently seeking a Union Dispatch Supervisor to join our team!

The pay rate for this role is $35.32 hourly and the schedule is Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch management

  • Oversee and direct morning dispatch of 10 DOT Drivers

  • Administer payroll for 10 drivers

  • Direct drivers in daily duties and responsibilities

  • Liaison between sales and logistics

  • Establish daily delivery priorities

  • Coordinate fleet repairs

Qualifications:

  • A strong background in Warehouse transportation operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred

  • 2+ years of warehouse transportation management or supervisory experience required

  • Prior routing experience is required

  • Prior customer service experience is a plus

  • Material Handling Equipment Certification and a valid Class CDL is a plus

  • Proficiency in OSHA and DOT regulations

  • Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities

  • Great communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a team

  • Demonstrate competencies in Dispatch Track, High Jump, and Trilogy
