Job Description for Truck Loader/Scanner
Primary duties:
- Use scan guns to scan outbound orders.
- Merge product together on pallets
Electric Stand on Pallet Jack Experience Required
Stand On Forklift preferred.
- Lock trailer and put chock in place before loading.
- Unlock trailer and remove chock after loading.
- Places boxed products on pallets
- Tags product per customer-per pallet
- Wraps pallets of product with plastic wrap
- Weighs product on pallets
- Load/Unload trucks
Operate vehicle safely.
Secondary duties:
- Maintain clean and sanitary work environment.
- Complete recordkeeping requirements
Ability to read and write English.
General Working Conditions/Environment
- Due to the refrigeration that is required for the products, the room temperature varies from -20 to 33 degrees (F).
Fast paced environment with heavy machinery being operated on the shipping floor.
