THERAPY MANAGER

Shift: Mon – Fri 8 – 430, no nights, weekends, holidays or on call

Status: Full time

Location: Coatesville, PA

Position Purpose:

The Therapy Manager will provide strategic direction and oversee therapy services, ensuring integration with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and adherence to professional standards of collaboration and service coordination.

Position Details:

Mercy LIFE Chester County is a new Trinity Health PACE program opening in Coatesville, PA.

What you will do:

  • Participate on the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and in various assessments.

  • Identify participant rehab needs are identified, addressed and care plans are implemented.

  • Manage daily therapy department operations, including staffing, scheduling visits and assessments and making referrals to other providers.

  • Develop care plans that include therapy services, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

  • Knowledgeable as to therapy aspects of care. Actively serves on the Quality Assessment and Process Improvement (QAPI) Committee.

  • Adherence to all discipline specific regulations which govern the operations the center.

  • Maintain accurate participant care records and promote efficient rehab services management.

  • Promote efficiencies and cost-effectiveness through competent management of rehab services.

  • Ensure safety and appropriate therapy measures are utilized.

  • Assess and order durable medical equipment and provide follow-through therapy for specialized needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active PA license in Physical or Occupational Therapy.

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy.

  • At least two years as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.

  • One (1) year with frail or elderly populations or appropriate training upon hiring.

  • Homecare experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent customer service, organizational, conflict management and problem solving skills

  • Flexibility to adapt to ongoing change and work priorities.
