Robert Half Technical Support Engineer Level 2 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Description We are on the lookout for a proficient Technical Support Engineer Level 2 to join our service industry team located in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania. This role involves offering advanced technical support, resolving intricate IT issues, and ensuring seamless operation of IT systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level technical support to internal teams to promptly resolve complex IT issues.
• Oversee the maintenance and monitoring of IT systems to ensure peak performance and accessibility.
• Collaborate with Level 1 support engineers to identify and resolve issues that require more advanced expertise.
• Administer Microsoft Cloud and On-Prem Active Directories and manage M365 tenancy administration.
• Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of support requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software.
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping informed about the latest industry trends and technologies to provide knowledgeable support and recommendations.
• Handle escalated tickets and data migrations, utilizing your back-off skills and Active Directory knowledge.
• Carry out the installation of software and set up of new employees.
• Hold a Cisco certification and have experience with iOS Apps, Linux Technologies, and AB Testing. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in the service industry
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, with demonstrable experience in troubleshooting and maintenance
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Citrix Technologies
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, including implementation and support
• Experience in supporting iOS Apps, including troubleshooting and updates
• Competency in Linux Technologies, with a focus on system administration
• Proven experience in AB Testing, with a focus on software and applications
• Expertise in managing Active Directory, including user accounts and system configurations
• Proficiency in handling Apple Devices, including troubleshooting and maintenance
• Experience with Backup Technologies, ensuring data safety and system recovery
• Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware, with the ability to diagnose and repair common issues. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
