The Interventional Support Center (ISC) located at 3520 South 76th Street is seeking a 3rd Shift Supervisor Material Service Partner to join their team:
Summary:
- The ISC Material Service Partner Supervisor has supervision of all activities of the ISC Material Service Partners on all shifts. The ISC Material Service Partners are responsible for picking instrument trays and supplies for OR Cases. They are also responsible for the movement of case carts from the ISC Soiled Dock to the Soiled Case Cart Holding and from Clean Case Cart Holding to the Clean Dock. Responsibilities also include managing of OR Supplies.
Responsibilities:
Manages inventory of OR Supplies. Makes changes to inventory based on usage. Communicates critical shortages to staff.
Works with individual companies to perform monthly, quarterly or semi-annual inventory audits. Maintains schedule for ISC Material Service Partners.
Assigns Service Partners to duties and areas as necessary. Manages day to day operations of the ISC Service Partner.
Oversight and monitoring of daily staff productivity and efficiency. Prepares and approves as appropriate, departmental staffing payroll Crisis management.
Gets to the root of crisis occurring, resolves the problem and works to eliminate further problems.
Educate Service Partners to the ISC.
Provides ongoing education to service partners related to new products, practice and procedures.
Assists in education of staff as related to quality assurance and improvement.
Encourages ownership and accountability among staff.
Maintain full staff to support workload. Recruits, hires, counsels and firs as needed to maintain staff level.
Ensures cost efficient management of staff, goods and supplies.
Ensures all operational procedures are consistently followed and maintained relative to scope and instrument, supplies and case cart tracking data collected by Censis.
Assists in monitoring staff compliance with performance improvement plans as needed.
Evaluates staff, generates and performs probationary and/or annual performance reviews. Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
Education or Equivalent Experience:
H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
And 5+ years Material Service Partner experience (Required)OR
Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
And 2+ years Supervisory experience (Required)
