As a Staff Accountant, you'll aid in achieving the company's mission by preparing and consolidating financial documents, analyzing and reconciling accounts, evaluating cash flows, creating budgets and predictions, preparing for audits, and handling internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly reconciliations and ensure accuracy of assigned GL accounts.

• Be responsible for activities relating to the maintenance of the general ledger, and related financial analysis and reports, in addition to assisting with the financial statements.

• Apply financial concepts to financial planning and business analysis to ensure adequate controls are available to achieve the desired results.

• Think creatively to solve complex accounting challenges.

• Assist in any special projects that rise through the course of business.

• Support various aspects of our annual audit including but not limited to interim testing, year-end testing and managing audit requests

  Requirements

The ideal Staff Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration. CPA preferred.

Other requirements for the Staff Accountant position include and are not limited to:

• 3+ years experience in accounting.

• Retail, eCommerce, CPG, distribution, or manufacturing industry experience preferred.

• Experience with JD Edwards preferred.

• Ability to plan and organize work, both collaboratively and independently.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
