Job Summary The Research Assistant position is temporary part time and will be based in the Life Course Outcomes research program at the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute (AJDAI). Founded in 2012, the AJDAI is a university-level research institute that applies public health science approaches to autism spectrum disorders. At the AJ Drexel Autism Institute, we are a team that pioneers research to better understand autism and drive impactful change in our communities and worldwide. Essential Functions Conduct qualitative data analysis using NVivo Manage all qualitative data infrastructures across multiple data sources Building qualitative codebooks for qualitative databases Provide qualitative analysis training for other Lab staff Conduct lab management tasks as assigned Support project management and coordination as assigned Conduct recruitment and data collection from participants as assigned Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 0-1 years of relevant experience Experience with qualitative data analysis Familiarity with NVivo or other qualitative software approaches Some previous research experience with special populations, such as autism Experience conducting qualitative research Qualitative publication experience Strong data organizational skills Physical Requirements Typically sitting at a desk/table Typically standing, walking Location Hybrid/Flexible Work Arrangement - Philadelphia, PA Additional Information This is a part-time temporary position classified as non-exempt.  The pay offered is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
