Position Description/Posting Details S1025PThe Title III Grant Project Director is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for all activities related to La Salle University's Title III Strengthening Institutions Program SIP grant, Advancing the La Salle Experience. The Director will work closely with a wide range of campus partners, in particular the associate provost, leadership in the Center for Academic Achievement, and the assistant vice president for information technology. They will also provide leadership for the new First Year Experience FYE and Sophomore Year Experience SYE courses. This full-time, grant-funded position reports to the Provost. * Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Title III SIP grant, managing all activities to achieve grant objectives and performance goals. * Oversee implementation of all grant strategies and interventions, including first-year and second-year experience courses, supplemental instruction for targeted sections of English 110 and Math 101 courses, success coaching expansion, professional development initiatives for faculty and staff, and data governance and technology enhancements, among other things. * Monitor grant budget and expenditures, ensuring proper use of funds and compliance with federal regulations. * Collect and analyze data on performance indicators and outcomes; monitor and report on progress toward grant objectives. * Complete required grant reports and submissions for the Federal Department of Education and project evaluators. * Develop project management systems that include timelines, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and identifying/resolving issues. * Foster collaboration with university leaders, faculty, and staff to integrate grant activities into workflows and institutionalize improvements. * In collaboration with others e.g., De La Salle Learning Institute DLSI, the faculty development committee, Information Technology IT, Institutional Research IR, the English department, assessment offices design and coordinate professional development activities to build institutional capacity in areas such as coaching methodology, data literacy, understanding diverse student needs, and teaching and supporting students in historically difficult courses. * Along with the Career Center, Core Implementation and FYE First Year Experience committees, design and deliver first-year and second-year experience courses, including recruiting/training instructors. * Coordinate and host advisory board meetings. * Remain current on trends, research, and best practices related to student success, retention, teaching and learning, and equity and inclusion. * Communicate regularly to the University community regarding grant progress. * Participate in appropriate University committees such as the Persistence and Student Success PASS committee and others as appropriate and assigned. * Other duties assigned by supervisor. 1 * Master's degree in a related field. * 5+ years experience in higher education administration, with increasing responsibility and a wide range of experiences. * Proven ability to set goals, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and enhance organizational effectiveness. * Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills along with evidence of collaboratio and consensus building ability. * Experience supervising staff and managing budgets. * Broad base of knowledge in academic support and student success. * Specific knowledge of retention issues and evidence-based models that support underserved students. * Skill in analyzing data, preparing reports, and translating metrics into action. * Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University. * Experience with grant writing and grant management. * Familiarity with university systems, project management software, and Excel. * Experience developing student success courses and teaching at the college level. * Some evening and weekend hours maybe required during strategic times.
