Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Network Engineer (Cisco, Arista, Juniper) IV (Contractor) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As part of our team, you will be tasked with supporting transport activities within the 5G Wireless Deployment and Planning sector. You will be considered a subject matter expert, responsible for integrating and troubleshooting 5G and CBRS solutions across a variety of site types and efforts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the engineering and technical aspects of each assigned project.

• Troubleshoot different variations of Samsung and other Major OEM network and operating systems.

• Understand the RAN technologies and support systems.

• Participate in technical deep dives.

• Document all of the project's scope, MOP requirements, assumptions, and general info using standard templates.

• Engage the impacted teams for their involvement e.g. deployment, server placements, network connectivity, procurement optimization, etc.

• Stay engaged at every stage of the project through the end of the deployment/integration period.

• Provide application support by debugging code fixes, bugs, and integrated modules during the engineering and integration phase.

• Perform system administration of Linux systems, some scripting, and packaging using rpm, apt-get, yum.

• Resolve complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.

• Work with Wireless Deployment and Planning leaders, Vendors, and stakeholders to develop and implement our Comcast Strand radio. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing network engineering tasks

• Proficiency in implementing policies and design principles in network environments

• Experience working with vendors for procurement and troubleshooting of network equipment

• Strong understanding of network engineering practices and optimization techniques

• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders on technical issues

• Familiarity with different network methods and their integration in existing systems

• Proven track record in deploying network modules and ensuring their accuracy

• Experience in coordinating with different teams for network deployments

• Knowledge of packaging components and creating templates for network configurations

• Proficiency in administering wireless systems and troubleshooting related issues

• Experience in system administration, especially in a Linux environment

• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and their use in network environments
