Job Summary Drexel University Facilities Management Department is seeking a qualified candidate to be responsible for maintenance and repairs of transportation fleet vehicles and grounds equipment. Candidate must be proficient in repairs of light to heavy vehicles, commercial vehicles, and grounds maintenance equipment. This schedule is Monday through Friday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Essential Functions Repair and perform preventive maintenance on various types of vehicles and equipment. Repair or handle unit replacement of all heating and air- conditioning system equipment Work with various hand tools and machinery requiring high dexterity. Maintain and repair grounds and landscaping equipment. Repair all types of electric transportation equipment. Repair or replace components of custodial equipment. Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with all laws and regulations Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years experience in automotive equipment repair field required. Valid driver's license required. Current State Inspection License s1. Physical Requirements Typically standing, walking Typically bending, crouching, stooping Lifting demands > 50lbs Location University City - Philadelphia, PA Additional Information This position is classified as exempt, union position.
