The Cigna Group Marketing Strategist - Employer Brand - Hybrid in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

As a strategic marketer on our Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing team, you’ll help attract talent that aligns with our values to join us on our mission to improve the health and vitality of those we serve. You’ll do this through a variety of tactics to help increase brand awareness and position The Cigna Group as a place that offers a unique career experience. We believe that’s no easy feat, we’re in search of an experienced marketer to help us do that.

About The Role:

The Marketing Strategist role primarily applies consumer marketing best practices to recruiting. Using your analytical mindset and creativity, you’ll create, launch, and measure targeted, results-driven campaigns. This role is considered hybrid, meaning you’ll be required to work from one of our offices most of your work week.

What you’ll do:

  • Establish strong relationships with recruiting stakeholders and act as an account manager for assigned job families to support, coach, teach, and apply marketing best practices

  • Attract customer service, health care professionals, and more to join our company

  • Define and deploy local, attention-grabbing marketing campaigns in various formats (organic and paid social media ads, billboards, internet and FM radio ads, email marketing, job boards, etc.)

  • Measure the effectiveness of campaigns, ensuring we maximize our ROI

  • Build/maintain landing pages in our CMS

  • Manage paid media strategy for two important platforms proven for talent attraction for key talent groups. You’ll build, run, manage, and report out on performance

  • Build equity in our employer brand through employee and reputational storytelling across communication channels and other relevant touchpoints

  • Serve as the expert for hiring events and coach teams on system constraints, brand voice, and success measures

  • Manage third-party vendor relationships ensuring maximum impact and efficiencies

  • Support other marketing-related projects as needed

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of strategic marketing experience

  • Account Management – ability to partner, coach, and influence

  • Strong writing skills for various audience types

  • Experience developing marketing content (both written and visual) for digital and offline channels without relying on an agency

  • Graphic design skills - experience with Adobe Creative Cloud with the ability to use and self-learn new tools

  • Experience building audiences and managing ad campaigns across various platforms simultaneously

  • Proven experience with the science of marketing tactics and analytics

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Experience leading and managing hiring or similar events

Nice if you have:

  • Employer brand experience

  • Video production experience

  • Project Management experience

  • Experience working with external agency partners

  • Experience running ads on Facebook, Glassdoor, and Indeed

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
