Job Summary

The Manager of Solutions Strategy is a critical role responsible for developing and managing value propositions, claims, and positioning across all Comcast Business solutions, segments, and key verticals. This role ensures that Comcast Business’s value proposition and solution strategy are seamlessly translated into messaging across both internal and external channels, including customer messaging, sales enablement materials, press releases, and analyst/award submissions. The role also involves building out claims and positioning tailored to key verticals, customer segments (with a key focus on Enterprise), and cross-product solutions, ensuring alignment with Comcast Business’s broader strategic goals.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the planning process for upstream product/solution launches by developing value propositions and claims associated with new solutions, solution enhancements, and analyst/award recognition.

  • Leverage market research, industry trends, and competitive analysis to develop a deep understanding of target markets and customer needs, acting as a subject matter expert (SME) to influence claims and messaging creation.

  • Partner with Solutions Strategy and Analyst Engagement leads to create robust value propositions that include unique positioning for solutions, key verticals, and customer segments.

  • Own the development and maintenance of solutions marketing roadmaps, playbooks, and claims guidelines to support consistent product positioning.

  • Partner closelywith Marcom, Digital, and Channel Enablement teams to influence messaging for both internal and external tactics, including customer/prospect communications, sales enablement materials, dotcom, and PR/corporate communications.

  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, and corporate communications teams to align messaging with strategic commercial priorities.

  • Play a key role in leveraginganalyst and award submissions, to bolster CB’s overall posture andensure consistency across messaging/positioning.

  • Monitor the competitive landscape, market trends, and analyst feedback to keep claims and messaging relevant and differentiated.

  • Provide support to the Senior Director in executing key initiatives such as market opportunity analysis and commercial strategy development.

  • Organize and manage claims and associated substantiation, lead legal reviews as a subject matter expert in claims validation, and help develop a point of view on aspirational claims to pursue.

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
