Audacy Manager, Legal Systems and Operations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Overview

Audacy is seeking a Manager of Legal Systems & Operations to join our in house legal department team.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the Audacy Legal Team’s Document Management System, iManage, in addition to oversight of onsite physical files.

  • Own document distribution and collection processes, document organization, etc.

  • Work with business stakeholders to collect fully executed agreements and retrieve agreements as requested.

  • Own and assemble data rooms to collect and distribute documents for various transactions (including for example M&A and financings) for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist with due diligence and discovery requests (i.e., M&A, litigation, cost analysis projects, etc).

  • Manage legal systems and licenses for the Audacy legal team.

  • Manage internal document management reminder system, DocMinder. This includes overseeing the system, creating and closing reminders, following up with business owners on next steps for their contracts.

  • Partner with IT to resolve any IT issues that affect the legal department either on an individual basis or the team as a whole.

  • Assist the Real Estate Department on various projects.

  • Draft Employment Agreements using templates and with attorney oversight.

  • Partner with Human Resources on employment-related projects.

  • Manage scheduling and logistics for Audacy Legal department meetings (both in person and virtually).

  • Process settlement agreement payments with the Accounts Payable Department.

  • Oversight of incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx, etc.

  • Manage Legal Specialist(s).

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace environment.

  • Exceptional initiative, judgment, prioritizing and organizational skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with document management systems is a plus, but not required.

  • Prior personnel management experience is preferred.

  • 4 years full time previous work experience required; Law firm or in-house legal department experience preferred.

  • Ability to commute to our offices in Center City PA at least 3 days a week and as needed.

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required for this role.
