Reference #: 5001081018906 The LPN nursing position is responsible for completing and monitoring all medical requirements of the program, including injections and health monitoring within our Adult Behavioral Health division.   Earn $31.20 per hour.   Schedule: 20 hours per week, M-Th.   Duties:  *  Administers medication, general first aid and other therapeutic treatments per physician's order and Merakey policies and procedures.  *  Provides ongoing assessment of mental status to include, but not limited to vitals, weights, BMI, change in mental status, side effects or allergic reactions and documents according to established procedures.  *  Coordinates care with Primary Care Physicians, pharmacies, and other health care providers and documents this in the electronic health record (EHR).  *  Provides patient education to clients including, but not limited to medical conditions and wellness.   *  Provides care in a manner that considers patient rights, safety, comfort, and the overall therapeutic environment.  *  Handles confidential information with discretion and diplomacy following Merakey policies and procedures for documentation and release of information.  *  Documents all nursing and coordination of care according to established procedures in client charts.  *  Ensures that all medication and sample medication is stored and maintained appropriately with regular inventory review.  *  Communicates with program team, families, identified supports in a professional manner.  *  Performs all other related duties to sustain the operation of the program as required or assigned.   Benefits  Merakey offers medical, dental - vision insurance plans, competitive compensation plans and more!  *  DailyPay enrollment option *  Work/Life Balance  *  Flexible Schedules  *  Cell Phone Discount Plans  *  Employee Referral Bonuses  *  Tuition Reimbursement  *  Care.com Membership   About Merakey  Merakey is a non-profit provider of developmental, behavioral health, and education services.
