Responsibilities
We are seeking a Landscape Designer with 1-2 years of experience to support both our landscape architecture team and the larger marketing efforts of the Philadelphia office. The position will focus mainly on the design of public and higher education spaces, including parks, campus design, trails, and green stormwater infrastructure, but the ideal candidate should also have an interest and willingness to assist our team with the creation of graphic marketing materials and proposals. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, assisting the landscape architecture team with the following Conceptual plans, sections, elevations Compelling perspective renderings Construction details and documentation for hardscape and planting designs Project-related research Site design and grading Community engagement meetings Development of community engagement materials Collaboration with civil engineers and transportation planners Development of graphic marketing materials Graphic production for proposals
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or working toward a Master's Degree 1-2 years of experience working within a Landscape Architecture or multidisciplinary design office setting Demonstrated production and digital rendering experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp. Experience with ArcGIS and Lumion a plus. Strong interest in multi-disciplined public space design Strong written and verbal communication abilities Strong attention to detail Possess the abilit and enthusiasm to collaborate as part of a diverse multidisciplinary team This is a full-time position. Salary is commensurate with experience.
