Robert Half is on the hunt for a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our client's team in the Philadelphia area. This HR Business Partner role calls for strategic collaboration with our top-tier leadership to drive plans on staffing, recruitment, and employee retention. As the HR Business Partner, you're the beating heart of our client, overseeing HR programs, safeguarding personnel records, and ensuring our unwavering compliance with employment laws and regulations. Responsibilities:

  • Performs direct sourcing for key positions, partners with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Supports hiring managers in the identification, selection and onboarding of qualified job applicants.

  • Cultivates and manages relationships with third party agencies in order to fill high volume direct labor roles in a timely manner.

  • Partners with Finance to ensure background checks and employee eligibility verifications are conducted accordingly.

  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate on matters related to their teams (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, progressive discipline notices).

  • Performs routine administrative tasks related to disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; progressive counseling and refers complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate leadership staff member.

    Requirements

The ideal HR Business Partner candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM-CP preferred.

Other requirements for the HR Business Partner position include and are not limited to:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle human resource management experience preferred.

  • Manufacturing, shop, warehousing, furniture + fabrication experience preferred.

  • Experience managing APS Systems

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.

  • Prior experience facilitating an HRIS implementation, system change or system integration.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
