DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB DESCRIPTION Global Finance Operations Accounting Architecture Project Analyst

The Global Finance Operations Accounting Architecture Project Analyst role will report to the VP of Accounting Architecture and is a pivotal team member of the Global Financial Operations Accounting Architecture function. The function is responsible for the end-to-end accounting flow through various systems and data transformation activities from both a change impact and new process flow perspective. The GFO AA Project Analyst role will interact with a diverse group of global stakeholders, including finance functions (receivables, payables, general accounting, reinsurance, treasury, etc.), IT, divisional leadership and other project participants at various levels, including external vendors. This role will help document accounting solutions, test accounting output, and track and communicate findings from testing. Critical factors to success include ability to think critically to solve issues/problems, detailed oriented, ability to multitask, take ownership and meet deadlines, work in a team as well as independently, and the willingness/desire to learn and ability to learn.

General Requirements * Assist with discussions regarding accounting requirements * Provide updates to manager and project managers * Participate in discussions across impacted teams * Assist with reconciliation requirements, documentation, flows and approach * Participate in testing, identifying, tracking and communicating issues to manager and project manager * Ability to travel, including within the US and internationally

Specific to This Role * Documentation of Project * Assist with documentation of accounting flow as resulting from system triggers (Visio) * Participate in accounting requirements discussions * Participate in project discussions, including across teams (functional, overall PM, treasury, reconciliations, business groups, IT) * Assist with defining reconciliation solutions, including matching rules, documentation and testing * Participating in accounting testing * Support and document UAT accounting requirements discussions * Execute testing adhering to agreed upon timelines * Communicate findings to manager, and assist with communication across impacted teams

QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred * Experience in operations and finance, with preference in insurance receivables * Problem solving skills * Excellent analytical skills * Strong interpersonal skills
