Description:

A gift shop associate is responsible for

overseeing the daily operation of the gift shop, including customer service, sales, returns, displays, and reports. Working with staff and/or volunteers, including training, scheduling, and payroll.

Identifying new vendors and merchandise, ordering and pricing inventory, and maintaining stock levels.

Enhancing the appearance of the shop and the online platform.

Meeting, greeting, and assisting customers in selecting gifts and other merchandise.

The Gift Shop Associate is responsible for:

  • Supervising the daily operation of the gift shop, including customer service, sales, returns, displays, and reports.

  • Working alongside staff and/or volunteers, including training, scheduling, and payroll.

  • Identifying new vendors and merchandise, ordering and pricing inventory, and maintaining stock levels.

  • Enhancing the appearance of the shop and the online platform.

  • Meeting, greeting, and assisting customers in selecting gifts and other merchandise.
