The Wistar Institute of Anatomy & Biology Genomics - Research Assistant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Wistar Institute has an opening for a Research Assistant to join the Genomics Shared Resource. The Genomics Shared Resource serves as a hub for consultation and scientific interaction relating to nucleic acid-based methods. Duties include but are not limited to: DNA sequencing, Next Generation sequencing and single cell sequencing.  In addition, this individual will be in charge of digital spatial profiling projects which will require consultation with Principle Investigators about their projects and all hands-on work including immunohistochemistry and library preparation for sequencing.

A Bachelor's degree in a science related field or equivalent experience is required. A master's degree is preferred. Prior experience, preferably in the above laboratory procedures, is highly preferred.
