Job Title: Flight Line Mechanic

Job Description

As a Flight Line Mechanic, you will assist in transferring helicopters from the production line to the flight line. Your responsibilities will include performing incoming inspections, installing main rotor blades, filling oils, and conducting fuel function testing according to applicable job cards. You will also perform engine dry motoring to ensure proper function before the first engine start-up, as well as periodic weight and balance operations depending on helicopter configuration. Additionally, you will perform track and balance flights and make adjustments to eliminate high vibrations on airframe and main & tail rotors. You will assist in the installation of interior and custom components, such as hoist, cargo hook, and auxiliary fuel system.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the transfer of helicopters from the production line to the flight line.

  • Conduct periodic weight and balance operations depending on helicopter configuration.

  • Perform track and balance flights and make adjustments to eliminate high vibrations on airframe and main & tail rotors.

  • Assist in the installation of interior and custom components, such as hoist, cargo hook, and auxiliary fuel system.

  • Ability to perform complex repairs and troubleshooting

  • Ensure cleanliness of hangar area and adhere to 'clean as you go' work practices

  • Prepare aircraft for customer delivery

Work Environment

Work on the final assembly helicopter line and flight line with 1st and 2nd shift openings. Tools are not required for this role. Enjoy a clean and organized work environment that emphasizes safety and efficiency. Relocation assistance and additional support are provided for qualifying candidates.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00
