DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB DESCRIPTION Financial Analyst Position Description: * Support the Environmental and CARS (Chubb Alternative Risk Solutions) business units in the planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. * Prepare/maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis files relating to production and P&L results. * Monitor monthly production results at a detailed level, identifying potential booking errors, and providing operations corrective direction when needed. * Utilize Chubb systems to compile data and research plan/forecast variances. * Provide timely, insightful responses to questions and requests. * Assist in the building and maintaining of annual plan files working with Underwriting Leadership. * Input plan/forecast to TM1 and update as needed. * Support branch management and underwriters, providing relevant metrics when requested. * Perform ad-hoc projects for Home Office.
QUALIFICATIONS Required skills include: * 2-3 years of Property & Casualty accounting experience * BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience * Strong analytical skills. * Familiarity with Chubb systems and reporting cycle. * Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of staff/management. * Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work independently. * Knowledge of Excel and Access. * TMI experience is a plus
