We are looking for an Engineer I. The Engineer I drives innovation, takes part in technical projects, and collaborates closely with colleagues in the Engineering department.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

• Collaborates with branches and field teams to gather comprehensive project details

• Works on projects varying in size, from smaller initiatives to larger endeavors involving basic to intermediate design responsibilities

• Conducts research and assists with tasks such as permit applications and material testing

• Evaluates and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks, applying moderate complexity skills within broader project contexts.

• Collaboratively uses limited judgment on details of work and in part of a broader assignment

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

• 0-3 years of experience

• Holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited program

• Possesses effective oral and written communication skills

• Has passed or is about to take FE exam

• Has a basic understanding of safety factors used in scaffold design

• Able to perform calculations

• Basic understanding of Engineering calculators

• Able to review/obtain necessary information for level 1 & 2 projects

• Proficient in utilizing CAD & 3D model skills at drafting low complexity projects using Revit

• Basic skilled in FEA/Structural Analysis software

• Full knowledge of regulations and codes

• Familiar with components of commonly used product lines

• Able to communicate concepts to drafters/designers
