WR Systems Electrician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

SUMMARY : WR has an opportunity for an Electrician to provide industrial electrician services for Navy test site equipment removal/relocation services, and maintenance services for various systems and equipment located at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Responsible for the repair, test, maintenance, assembly, and disassembly of electrical equipment, machinery, and systems such as generators, alternators, motors, intercommunication systems, and power distribution.
· Inspect electrical equipment and maintain the records and schedule of tasks and inspections.
· May review drawings, blueprints, manuals, and technical specifications.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Three (3)+ years of experience with the operation, repair, modification, and maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery, and systems such as generators, alternators, motors, and maintaining records and schedules of tasks and inspections.
· Must have completed Electrician "A" school and/or a similar two (2) year technical school.
· Basic technical knowledge to solve problems with a basic understanding of the interrelationships of circuits and 2M repair.
