We are offering an exciting opportunity for a SQL Database Developer, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. T his role involves designing, developing, and maintaining efficient SQL code and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable SQL code to optimize database systems.

• Collaborate closely with other team members to innovate and optimize database systems.

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve database performance issues ensuring data integrity and security.

• Collaborate with business owners, users, consultants, and technicians to implement a comprehensive corporate data strategy.

• Identify potential new areas for focus and provide clarity around existing areas that still need to be fully defined or understood.

• Design, build, and improve data movement processes between on-premise and off-premise data stores.

• Lead efforts to optimize database performance, ensuring data integrity and security.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Application and Database and related tools (SSIS/SSRS).

• Profound knowledge and hands-on experience in Snowflake Platform Architecture.

• Strong understanding of on-premise and off-premise data architecture concepts and best practices, methodologies for design, development, testing, and development and testing tools. Experience with cloud data management platforms. AWS work experience preferred.

• Clear and efficient communication is a key aspect of this role, both with technical peers and management.

• Five (5) + years’ experience as a Database Developer.
