Description
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS *To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Work with the leadership to develop the strategy for the company, including market/competitor/regulatory/policy/etc. analyses, opportunity identification, competitive advantages, recommendations, financials, etc.
- Coordinate the company's planning processes, including interactions with relevant departments across the company and at the Korean HQ to ensure alignment; help manage the performance against the plan, including regular tracking, analysis, and reporting
- In coordination with Finance, help lead the preparation of the budget/financial plan, including analyses (e.g., rationale for assumptions), forecasting, scenario planning, and coordination with other departments
- Determine priorities and review/develop investment and resource allocation business cases (e.g., cost-benefit analysis, return on investment)
- Identify potential strategic alliances/partnerships and M&A opportunities, and help support related deal efforts as needed
- Define and establish relevant KPIs and targets aligned with strategy and business objectives; coordinate monitoring and analysis as well as identifying adjustments to optimize results
- Support other teams in problem-solving, recommendation development (including challenging ideas and identifying/supporting implementation of improvements/best practices), and presentation/reporting
- Address special initiatives/requests, including strategic initiatives and ad hoc questions/requests
- Facilitate communications and coordination across departments and external stakeholders
- Prepare and present recommendations and perspectives to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Track the progress of key initiatives, including development of dashboards and follow-up (e.g., investigations on progress or lack thereof)
- Identify potential risks associated with strategic plans and develop plans to mitigate the risks
Perform other related duties as required and assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience working at a top-tier consulting firm or similar experience in corporate strategy or planning role
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field; MBA from a top-tier institution is highly preferred
- Strong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking

WORK ENVIRONMENT

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
