AIG Programs develops industry leading solutions both on an Admitted and Non-Admitted basis, manages both large and small portfolios, either national or regional in scope, and works with Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) partners countrywide.

How you will create an impact

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for managing the processes and information associated with ensuring the AIG Programs Division complies with all internal program and corporate governance requirements and has the necessary procedures and controls to adhere to all such requirements.

  • Maintain the AIG Programs’ SharePoint website to ensure that the Library/Folder structure and documentation is kept current. Key information responsibilities include active and terminated Program documentation, Divisional reference documentation, Management Reports and Divisional Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).

  • Coordinate the maintenance of the Underwriting Toolkit Library in AIG Programs’ SharePoint website with the Program Management area to ensure this Library contains all key documentation and reference materials required of Program Management to perform their roles/responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

  • Serve as the control owner of the Divisional Key Events Calendar ensuring that all key Program events and documentation are completed within required timeframes.

  • Develop and maintain various Divisional reference documents containing key Program Administrator and Program information.

  • Assist in the coordination of Divisional involvement in various AIG Audit processes and remediation including Commercial Underwriting Quality (CUQ) audits, MGA audits, AIG Internal Audits and Div. 66 Quality Assurance Audits.

  • Coordinate the quarterly follow-up/tracking of Program Underwriting Authority Statement implementation of forms introduced via the Program Administrator Bulletin process with the Program Management team.

  • Maintain key documentation on the Program Administrator Website accessed by external Program Administrators.

  • Coordinate various Divisional and compliance tasks/processes associated with the on-boarding and implementation of new Programs.

  • Develop and run CRUIS data reports required for Divisional and regulatory compliance items.

  • Assist the Compliance Officer in the coordination and handling of Market Conduct Exam and Consumer Complaint activity.

  • Assist the Division in handling new ad-hoc projects/initiatives as they arise and provide support to other Divisional functional areas as needed.

What you will need to succeed

  • 5+ Years of Commercial Insurance experience, with a focus on Program Business/Delegated Underwriting Authority a plus.

  • Experience in Corporate/Underwriting governance, compliance and/or audit.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. Regulatory framework and commercial multi-lines product/market conduct compliance requirements.

  • Ability to manage by influence demonstrating strong communication, relationship management, organizational and analytical skills.

  • Collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in dynamic, rapidly changing environment, adapting to changing requirements and collaborating with a wide range of colleagues to deliver expected results.

  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, proven creative problem solver.

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and work with analytical tools, reports and technology.

  • Computer literacy required: Microsoft IT packages preferred – MS Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.
