Program Overview

The Comcast internship/co-op program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.

This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Organization & Team Overview

The Comcast Corporate Compliance team has oversight responsibilities for the Compliance Program for the Company as a whole, including strategic oversight of compliance programs implemented across Comcast, NBCUniversal and Sky to ensure employees are abiding by Comcast’s high ethical standards as well as complying with laws, regulations, and contracts domestically and internationally.

Role Description

The Fellow will gain exposure to the compliance and ethics profession and will support the Corporate Compliance Group with many aspects of the Company’s compliance program, including but not limited to:

  • Corporate Compliance’s management of Corporate and enterprise-wide standards, policies, training and communications.

  • Projects related to the Company’s internal whistleblower program, including the ethics helpline and case management system.

  • Researching emerging compliance trends.

  • Benchmarking the Company’s compliance programs against the programs of other respected companies and the guidance of enforcement authorities and regulators.

  • Performing other compliance-related duties, as needed, that support the Company’s compliance program

Preferred Skills

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications, ability to work both independently and with a team, willingness to assist in areas outside of direct assignments when necessary, and commitment to self‐improvement and completion of team objectives.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with consistently high‐quality work product.

  • A keen attention to detail.

  • Prior experience working for or with attorneys a plus.

  • Experience with the preparation of presentations/slide decks, metrics, and written reports.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze facts and identify issues, collect data/evidence, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Preferred Majors: Bachelor’s degree and enrollment in law school required.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

  • Fellow must be nominated by the Center for Compliance and Ethics at Temple University

  • Currently enrolled in a 3-year JD program at an accredited law school in the United States and completed the first year of the program.

  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)

  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program - June 2 through August 15, 2025

  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $45.00
