Program Overview

The Comcast internship/co-op program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.

This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Organization & Team Overview

Comcast’s EBI organization leverages data to build AI solutions that increase performance in many functions across Comcast. The AI Product team works with business strategy leaders to identify problems that can be solved through the use of AI. As a part of the AI product team, you’ll work closely with data scientists, data analysts, solution architects and develops to build, implement and trial AI solutions.

Role Description

In this role, you’ll gain practical experience implementing AI to solve business problems – starting from framing the business strategy to measuring business improvement that’s been driven through the use of AI. You’ll work side by side with a cross functional, highly motivated team with a track record of delivery big business impacts.

As an AI Product Intern on the EBI team, you’ll define potential AI opportunities working with data analytics, partner with teams to design the solution, present proposals to business leaders, manage AI Product roadmaps and work with operational teams to implement AI trials.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for AI-driven solutions in the Growth and Marketing domains, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.

  • Product Roadmap: Create and manage a clear and dynamic product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on stakeholder feedbackand strategic priorities.

  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence in the AI landscape.

  • Requirements Gathering: Collect and refine product requirements by engaging with stakeholders and end-users to understand their needs and pain points.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data Science, Data Management, Go-To-Market (GTM), Customer Experience, Analytics, Reporting, and Measurement, to ensure the successful development and delivery of AI products.

  • Product Development: Oversee the AIML delivery process as the accountable Project Lead, acting as the voice of the business and ensuring that the product meets high-quality standards.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues early in the development process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful product launches.

  • Compliance and Ethics: Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure that AI products comply with ethical and legal guidelines, addressing potential biases and privacy concerns.

  • Product Launch: Work with the cross-functional team toplan and execute successful product launches, including trial GTM strategies, experimental design, training, and production support.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficient SQL orPython skills preferred but not required

  • Strong communication skills and able to distill complex ideas for an executive audience. Mastery of PowerPoint is highly desirable

  • Proficiency in Excel to summarize datasets is a requirement

  • Can operate in a fast-paced environment; translating ideas into clear presentations to drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making

  • Excellent stakeholder and interpersonal skills, has the ability to keep a close pulse on the strategic priorities and align the product strategy to meet the broader Xfinity goals

  • Strong business acumen and can make judgements on what is a high vs. low business priority

  • Preferred Majors: Business, Analytical Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university

  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)

  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)

  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025

  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Salary:

Base Pay: $32.00
