The Psychology of Eating and Consumer Health (PEACH) Lab at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is in need of a full-time research assistant (RA) to assist with recruitment and data collection for a randomized, controlled trial designed to evaluate the effect of healthy food policies on food shopping and eating behaviors.

Job Description

The Psychology of Eating and Consumer Health (PEACH) Lab at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is in need of a full-time research assistant (RA) to assist with recruitment and data collection for a randomized, controlled trial designed to evaluate the effect of healthy food policies on food shopping and eating behaviors.

The position requires that the employee speak Spanish to assist with recruitment and data collection for our target study population. The RA will be responsible for participant recruitment, obtaining informed consent, administering study surveys, placing restaurant and grocery orders for delivery to participant's address, and data entry.

The RA will also be responsible for communicating with participants and answering questions via phone and text, as well as teaching participants how to use the online restaurant and grocery ordering system. The RA must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other research team members.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
