As a Client Executive for Life Sciences in our Strategics program, you will be responsible for operating within a large, dedicated core team and a cross-functional team, managing the business relationships that drive the consumption of NetApp's products and services by one of NetApp's life sciences. You will work directly with both the client's core technology infrastructure group as well as lines-of-business to capture sales opportunities and work effectively across NetApp internal functions to drive business growth. This position will primarily cover a US-based life sciences institution with the key account in Philadelphia, PA with potential for New York/New Jersey area travel. However, as a global entity, there are sites in other locations in the US and Europe.

Job Responsibilities: *  Generate and close profitable business, working collaboratively across organizations to maximize results *  Understand the client's strategic growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, technology footprint, and engaged landscape *  Forecast accurately, complete ongoing training and administrative tasks in a timely fashion *  Build and strengthen NetApp's business relationship with the client; ensure all needs are met through the customer lifecycle *  Work collaboratively with VAR and ecosystem partners across the IT landscape to enhance our positioning and drive exponential growth *  Build executive relationships internally and externally, influence long-term strategic direction, and serve as a business partner for the client *  Learn and be able to articulate the NetApp products and value proposition. *  Operate ethically and in accordance with the NetApp Values and Code of Conduct

Job Requirements

  •  At least 8 years of technology sales experience, preferably in a team selling environment.
  •  Background in IT infrastructure, Storage, Cloud Service, and/or SaaS, IaaS, PaaS (Preferably in pharmaceutical/life sciences industry)
  •  Strong business acumen with a thorough understanding of sales strategies and demonstrated ability to execute
  •  Broad exposure to a variety of technologies and technology concepts in a distributed environment
  •  Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  •  Strong leadership, customer service, and negotiation skills
  •  Ability to travel within the US (market(s) of customer locations) and Europe

Education

  •  Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or additional experience in stated areas

The OTE (On Target Earnings) Range for this position is $280,980 -$343,420 USD and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
