Within this role, you will provide both clerical and administrative support to the staff of the Philadelphia Referee Office. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
A Clerical Assistant 3 performs complex clerical work requiring the application of independent judgment and functions as a lead worker over moderately complex clerical work. Work involves office or program support functions in reviewing and processing data, information, forms, and other documents, including the keyboarding of data and information into computer systems. Duties may involve creating and formatting documents, organizing, and verifying information, performing mathematical calculations, maintaining files and records, or assisting the public in completing governmental forms or obtaining general information about programs and services. Other duties to include but not limited to: Managing Referee's hearing schedule Preparing hearing notices Communicating effectively verbally and in writing Transcribing decisions from digital recording and preparing decisions from typed drafts Proofreading documents and verifying data Greeting clients and handling client Inquiries Interpreting documentation and records Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours are negotiable. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week after the successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Philadelphia. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
