University of Pennsylvania Assistant Professor-Clinician Educator- Center for Autism Research-CHOP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of computer vision as applied to brain imaging data as well as video data capturing non-verbal communication (facial expressions, gestures, body movements). Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. PA Psychology License.
Teaching responsibilities may include training clinicians in the diagnosis of co-occurring mental health concerns in neurodivergent children and adolescents, teaching pediatric and psychiatry residents, psychology fellows, graduate students, interns and postdocs, clinical supervision for psychology trainees.
Clinical responsibilities may include expertise in, and provision of, psychotherapy for mood and anxiety concerns among neurodivergent children.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include investigator- and collaborator-led research on affective processes among neurodivergent children and adolescents.
