University of Pennsylvania Assistant Professor, CE Track, Division of Nephrology in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Nephrology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must also be board certified/eligible in pediatric nephrology.
Teaching responsibilities may include the bedside teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities.
Clinical responsibilities may include the treatment of children and adolescents with a wide range of kidney diseases in both the inpatient, outpatient, satellite campus, and dialysis settings.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include a strong interest and track record in clinical, basic science, and/or translational research involving patients with kidney disease, program administration skills, and commitment to direct and grow clinical programs in their specific area of interest. Significant research and clinical resources and space for the research and clinical programs will be provided to the successful candidate.
3-5 years Nephrology Attending experience required.
