University of Pennsylvania Assistant /Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Clinician Educator Track in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time, Clinician-Educator track position in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, available at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Eligible c andidate s must have completed a CODA-accredited advanced education program in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and be board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. At least two years of experience in the broad scope of oral and maxillofacial pathology and anatomic pathology practice and teaching is preferred. There is also an expectation of scholarship, and preference will be given to those with a demonstrated publication record and/or funding supporting research in machine learning or artificial intelligence applied to diagnostic pathology or educational data analysis.

For successful fulfillment of the duties of the position, which align with the School’s Mission Statement, the candidate must have a record of demonstrated excellence in pre- and post-doctoral teaching, clinical, basic science and/or educational research and service in oral and maxillofacial pathology, including pathology practice.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for work authorization, possess a DDS or DMD degree, and be eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania dental license.
