As an Accounts Receivable Specialist Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Accurately apply cash receipts, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers, to the right customer accounts and invoices.

• Actively manage and follow up on overdue accounts, initiating collection calls and emails to ensure timely payments and reduce outstanding receivables.

• Regularly review and analyze AR aging reports to prioritize collections efforts, address past-due accounts, and provide insights to management on collection trends.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain organized documentation of collection activities and provide reports on the status of receivables to management.

• Utilize accounting software systems, CRM, and ERP for efficient and accurate data management.

• Use your skills in ADP - Financial Services and Epic Software to facilitate and streamline the accounts receivable process.

• Implement best practices in accounting functions to ensure efficient and effective operations.

• Use your expertise in cash handling to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Receivable Specialist candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, additional education/certification is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Billing Functions

• Experience with Cash Activity management

• Proficiency in Cash Handling.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software

• Familiarity with Epic Software

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
