University of Pennsylvania AC Track Faculty Position, Division of Infectious Diseases - Senior ranks in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. Board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching Infectious Diseases fellows, residents, and medical students. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching. There will be an expectation of the ability of selected candidates to provide management and/or leadership. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient weeks at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC), HUP-Cedar, as well as outpatient sessions at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM) or PPMC. Clinical areas of focus may include general Infectious Diseases, HIV, and infections in immunocompromised hosts.
