Confidential Employer Outpatient Therapist - Adult and/or Child in Phila, Pennsylvania
GENERAL OVERVIEW OF KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assesses psychological and treatment needs of assigned clients. Providesintensive therapeutic services to individuals in assigned settings.Collaborates with other members of the treatment team, design anddirects the implementation of the treatment plan which is individualized toeach client and their individual needs.
ESSENTIAL & CORE FUNCTIONS: 1. Develops comprehensive treatment plans that are goal directed,measurable, and achievable. 2. Provides individual/family and/or group therapy sessions to assignedconsumers based on weekly productivity requirements. 3. Evaluates individual consumer needs, interests and response totreatment. 4. When applicable, recommends and makes appropriate referrals to otherprograms within and outside the Agency; completes all program documentation forms, including incident reports. 5. Attends all scheduled supervision sessions with immediate supervisoror designee. 6. Coordinates and attends case conferences. 7. Attend meetings and seminars as directed by supervisor. 8. Conduct periodic reviews of client plans as needed. Ensure appropriatelevels of medically necessary services are provided. Complete initialassessments for clients CBE as required. 9. Actively participates in staff meetings. In accordance with CommunityCouncil and licensure requirements, attends in-service training to achieve,maintain and enhance professional competence. Interacts professionallywith the clients, co-workers, families and/or community members. 10. Adheres to policies and procedures Community Council. 11. Performs all duties independently. May be required to report toalternate sites as assigned. 12. Performs related duties, special assignments and projects as requiredby Community Council management. 13. Ability to work with all levels of directors, supervisors, colleagues, staff,and consumers in an effective and positive manner. 14. Ensures excellent customer service delivery within theProgram/Department.
PREREQUISITES & QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION: A person who meets one of the following: (i) Has a graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited byan agency recognized by the United States Department of Education orthe Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a generallyrecognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes sixcredits of a clinical practicum. (ii) Has an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that hasbeen evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators,Inc. (AICE) or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services(NACES). The Department will accept a general equivalency report fromthe listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency. (iii) Is licensed in a generally recognized clinical discipline that includesmental health clinical experience.
