Alaniz Construction Company Concrete Form Setter and Finisher in Pharr, Texas
Employer seeking concrete finisher and concrete form setter.
Work will be Valley Wide.
All employees meet at the office and leave on the company truck.
Work is usually Monday through Friday 7am to 4:30pm
Preferred experience.
Concrete Finisher:
- Spread and level concrete using hand tools
- Operate power tools such as power trowels and edgers
- Apply finishing materials to the surface of concrete, such as sealants and curing compounds
- Smooth, shape, and texture surfaces to specified finish
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Ensure safety measures are followed at all times during work activities.
Concrete Form Setter
- Grades and thoroughly compacts dirt and prepares area for placement of forms
- Constructs forms then sets and aligns them to the precise desired pitch and depth
- Installs and ties rebar and wire mesh
- Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists tools and materials needed to perform work.
- Keeps jobsite clean, safe, and free from debris
- Cleans and organizes forms, stakes, and all materials and tools used to perform tasks
- Tears out existing concrete when required
