Cummins Inc. IT Support Associate - Level II in Phaltan, India

DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform IT production support for assigned areas according to documented processes.

  • Diagnose and problem-solve issues with IT hardware and software components under direction.

  • Install, configure, and address IT hardware and application issues as needed.

  • Troubleshoot assigned issues per departmental standards, escalating unresolved issues.

  • Utilize the Incident Management system to manage reported issues or requests from end users, documenting all actions taken.

  • Provide one-on-one training to less experienced associates on IT support processes and tools.

  • Assist with additional IT responsibilities as assigned.

  • Familiarity with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) related to IT services.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience (to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations) required. Relevant industry training, certification or equivalent experience preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Apriso MES hands-on experience.

Ability to handle production support.
