Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, United States. This role is within the telecom industry and involves the management of customer credit applications, credit records, and resolution of credit inquiries. The successful candidate will also monitor customer credit accounts and take necessary action for the collection of delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Resolve customer credit inquiries effectively and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts for any abnormalities or discrepancies

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments from customers

• Execute account reconciliation tasks to maintain accuracy in records

• Handle billing duties, ensuring all invoices are sent out and paid on time

• Conduct cash applications and cash collections as per established procedures

• Review customer credit status regularly and take necessary actions based on findings

• Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth financial operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated expertise in Billing procedures

• Familiarity with Cash Applications

• Proven experience in Cash Collections

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Knowledge of financial software systems is a plus.
