Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on Experience)
Location : Peterlee (On-site)

25 days annual leave
Up to 10% Bonus
Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution Up to 10%
Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution.

The Opportunity

What You Will Do:
This role influences talent acquisition strategy, building strong relationships with our internal customers & prospective candidates, and acts as a recruiting subject matter expert for our HR partners, to include placing advertisements, attending job fairs, and performing other related duties to support recruitment processes.
You’ll be the primary owner of the relationship with the hiring managers, acting as first point of contact, sourcing candidates and evaluating resumes for jobs through internal and external tools and resources (social media, job boards, ATS and CRM etc.). conducting qualitative candidate pre-screens while providing exemplary candidate experience, providing informed recommendations, and extending offers to candidates.
You’ll also support company initiatives including but not limited to; people initiatives like safety, wellbeing, process improvements and project participation
What you can demonstrate:
Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Candidate Screening: Knowledge of techniques, methods and processes of candidate screening; ability to preselect suitable candidates for first and further interviews within the organization.
Candidate Sourcing: Knowledge of techniques, methods and channels of candidate sourcing; ability to attract and qualify candidates for immediate job vacancies or as potential long-term job candidates.
Top Candidates may have some of t4he following:
- Hiring experience / knowledge for manufacturing, operations, SCM, Purchasing, Design will be more relevant.
Additional Info
- This role is 100% on site in Peterlee, with the following working pattern: 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 to 12:30 Friday
