RiverMead Registered Nurse (RN) in Peterborough, New Hampshire

Base pay starts at $38.00 per hour.

We are currently accepting applications for Per Diem (all shifts) Registered Nurse (RN). Join our team as a Nurse and make a difference in the lives of our assisted living residents. Nurse shift differentials:

2nd shift = $2.50 per hour

3rd shift = $3.50 per hour

Weekends = $1.50 per hour (Friday 5 PM-Sunday midnight)

Responsibilities

Provides and directs nursing care to assisted living residents during the shift, based on RiverMead policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process.

  • Provides services requiring nursing skill, per the plan of care and physician's orders, and makes the resident's initial assessment. Demonstrates competency in all skills required.

  • Assesses and regularly reassesses the nursing needs of the resident; initiates, develops, implements, and makes necessary revisions to the resident's plan of care in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, Neighborhood Coordinators, other departments, residents, and resident's families. Assesses the resident's continual care needs.

  • Recommends and initiates diagnostic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing procedures appropriate to the resident's care and safety. In cooperation with the resident's physician, referrals to other disciplines are made as indicated by the resident's needs.

  • Performs therapeutic procedures such as administration of medications, immunizations, wound care, and managing infection.

Qualifications

  • Degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing.

  • Licensed as a Practical Nurse by the State of New Hampshire

  • Current CPR certification required.
