RiverMead Culinary Services Manager in Peterborough, New Hampshire
We are looking to fill the Full-Time Assistant Director of Culinary Services position at RiverMead. This role is vital to our community, ensuring our residents have exceptional dining experiences. Key responsibilities include:
Directly supervising all service personnel to ensure proper service and sanitation procedures are followed before, during, and after meals.
Assisting in providing quality food and an enjoyable dining experience for residents, guests, and staff.
Handling situations in compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Supervising special functions to ensure proper service.
Supervise waitstaff personnel's orientation, training, evaluation, and counseling to meet department standards.
Ensuring adequate staffing during callouts in all shifts and dining areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or Culinary Management
3-5 years of demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of dining room service techniques, resident relations, plate presentation, sanitation, food handling, personnel administration, and special functions.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Must be self-directed and dependable.
Must be able to work every other weekend and some holidays
