Job Title: Regional Payroll Manager
Salary: From £91,000 (depending on experience)
Location : Peterborough

Opportunity
The Regional Payroll Manager works closely with payroll teams in a geographical region to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with all jurisdictional obligations. Provides strategic direction and guidance to ensure payroll processes are efficient.
What You Will Do:
Oversee payroll processing for multiple locations to ensure payrolls are calculated properly and employees paid timely.
Collaborate with HR business partners and others to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.
Provide guidance and support on complex payroll issues to mitigate / eliminate disruptions in the pay processes.
Develop and continually implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with related laws and regulations, including tax.
Manage performance of team members to ensure professional development goals are achieved.
What You Have:
The ideal candidate will have extensive skills in Global payroll strategy, specifically Asia Pacific countries.
Core Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.
Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
Conflict Management: Knowledge of managing conflicts; ability to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.
Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
Payroll Management: Knowledge of payroll policy and methods; ability to use tools, techniques and processes to manage employee payroll and benefits operations.
Payroll Administration: Knowledge of policies, operations and standards related to payroll; ability to establish, implement, and administer policies, procedures, and systems for confidentially calculating, preparing and distributing payrolls.
Additional Information:
Locations: Hybrid role based on Peterborough, offering 3 days in the facility and 2 from home.
