Aerotek Accounts Payable Specialist in Petaluma, California
Join our dynamic team , a leading provider of automated payment processing and compliance enforcement systems for parking, transit ticketing, and parks & recreation. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to manage accounts payable processes, extract and reconcile data from various platforms, and ensure accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Extract and compile data from Excel, various platforms, and internal databases.
Manage accounts payable processes, including recording transactions and making remote deposits.
Reconcile monthly financial activities with third-party processors and customers.
Communicate with customers to confirm revenue earned and address any discrepancies.
Monitor and manage credit card activity and its impact on inventory.
Utilize ERP and MRP systems to review purchase orders and inventory requirements.
Analyze and update spreadsheets with inventory and financial data.
Focus on monthly reconciliation of 13 accounts during the first week of each month.
Reach out to customers with overdue payments throughout the month.
Work closely with the team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Handle banking information, process payments, and manage money movements.
Work with web portals (VenVu) and ERP systems (Sispro).
Perform standardized accounting tasks and ensure compliance with company policies.
Assist with GSA reporting and other financial reporting requirements.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Wednesday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
Intensive focus on reconciliation and customer communication during the first two weeks of each month.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in accounts payable and accounting.
Proficiency in Excel and enterprise software systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP and MRP systems.
Familiarity with inventory management and credit card transaction processing.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00
